Gospel-Centered Discipleship was graciously enough to allow me to write another piece for their website. Previously I wrote about “Gospel-Saturated Family Discipleship” and I riffed off that in my latest piece “Gospel Discipline.” My concern for discipleship in our families is rooted in my own earlier and continued failure as a husband and father but that failure brought a realization I can’t change my family or make them love Jesus more. But the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead and raised my dead corpse from bondage to sin and death can give new life to my family. I hope these articles will encourage people to bypass my failure and run fast and hard to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while vigorously pursuing gospeling opportunities in our home.
